The First Page: [V i d e o]
I haven't the slightest clue why I was brought to...? [What does she even call this place? A forest? A paradise? She doesn't feel entirely settled with calling her new surroundings the latter. Something is definitely off. After all, hadn't she been in the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts a moment ago?
Crossing her arms over her chest, she presses her lips together, a determined glint in her eyes.]
My name is Hermione Granger and I know for a fact that I did not choose to come here. Nor did I choose to have wings fastened onto my back.
[That part is quite curious. Bringing her somewhere against her will is one thing, but attaching wings to her back without her realizing it is another. She wonders if she had been rendered unconscious for awhile.]
Is there any way to rid myself of them? They are...cumbersome. [Not to mention they make her feel like a walking target.
She lowers her voice and adds in an undertone:] It's a shame Luna didn't come with me. This seems like something out of The Quibbler.
[Rolling her shoulders to relieve some tension, she exhales.]
I have a number of questions for anyone who has the time. I've tried to speak to the villagers, but they're not terribly... [animate] ...helpful. I wonder if they're under some spell?
[Hermione shakes her head and shifts from foot to foot.]
I would sincerely appreciate any aid. Thank you.

[Pulling out her wand, she places it on her open palm and whispers "Point Me". It spins until it points north.]
I'm coming from the south. Almost directly. Is that close for you?
[Already heading out the door, with his customary bottle of water and simple sandwich]
Were there any injuries on your transition here, and have you had a chance to read any of the guidebook?
[She comes to a halt to wait for him.]
I'm bruised [and cut] from the last battle, but it's nothing life threatening.
[Action] (Aaaand off to bed!)
[It takes him a few moments but he arrives, wearing a dark short-sleeved shirt with pants made out of a thin, breathable material. a pair of lightsabers clipped to his belt, and he's carrying a satchel. Anyone familiar with the weapons might note that one is his, the other is clearly Darth Vader's.
With a smile, he waves]
Ms. Granger, right? Nice to meet you in person. Here, have a little welcoming gift. When people first arrive, I've found that drinking some water and having a simple bit of food helps stave off the aches associated with the new wings.
[Action] (Sleep well!)
[Seeing him on a screen is quite different from seeing him in person. Hermione stares openly before reining in her fascination. Yes, she is seeing and speaking to Luke Skywalker; yes, he is real, but none of that excuses her acting like a buffoon.]
H-Hermione or Mione. [A brief, shy smile crosses her lips.] Does it? I would be grateful for some relief. I was already achy enough.
[She is definitely showing signs of having been in battle.]
[Action]
[He bows his head and offers here the bag]
There is food and water in there, Hermione. If you don't mind my asking, what happened to your lip? You don't look uninjured.
[Action]
[The wings are supposed to be amusing? How can the Malnosso expect anyone to take them seriously when they pull stunts like that?]
Any optimism I may have felt towards them just vanished.
[She takes the bag gratefully and opens the bottle of water.]
Oh... I was dueling in battle. I suppose I was hit more times than I realized. But I'm all right.
[Action]
[He raises an eyebrow]
Do magic-users have duels with magic, or...something else? Forgive me, I'm merely curious
[Action]
[Action]
[He gestures for her to follow, so that she can find more appropriate clothing and her various odds and ends.]
Walk with me, we'll recover your possessions and I can help you find a place to stay for the moment. There are plenty of apartments, so you should have no trouble.
[Action]
This is my Wand. I can create spells with it.
[Speaking of clothing, she hasn't been in a dress for so long that it's...odd. She nervously smoothes out the skirt and follows him.]
Why do you have two Light-Sabers? [It probably sounds out of the blue, but she has noticed.]
Thank you for helping me.
[Action]
[He inspects it, feeling the arcane power contained within through the Force. Luke has barely noticed that she's wearing the New Feather clothing, so don't feel bad Hermione, its nothing weird.]
Its no problem, I enjoy helping New Feathers get settled in. And to answer your question, I carry two because one was a birthday present from my father. He found Darth Vader's lightsaber in one of the shops and decided that I should have it.
[He unclips it from his belt and offers it to her]
If you like, feel it. I know many people who've seen the films are curious about them. Just don't point it at yourself and turn it on, that wouldn't be wise.
[Action]
[Usually when she wears a dress, she likes to look...decent. And, at the moment, she knows she looks exhausted and wounded.
While he examines her Wand, she reaches up to touch her hair. Oh it's frizzy. Damn.]
...really? [She smiles warmly.] That was kind of him.
[Her eyes widen and she almost says no but then...
It's a Light-Saber.
A Light-Saber. Luke's...no...Darth Vader's Light-Saber.
Who in their right mind would refuse the chance to hold that? So she ends up taking it gingerly and marveling at its weight. It's lighter than she thought it would be.]
Er no. That would be awful. I've seen how easily they cut... [She shudders a little, pointing it away from both of them before she actually turns it on.]
This is amazing.
[Action]
Is it? I'm a little more used to it than most I suppose.
[As they walk, Luke points out various buildings, most notably the clothing shop]
That's our destination, where you can find some clothing you'll find more appropriate. The New Feather clothing is alright now, but its good that you didn't arrive in winter.
[Action]
Well, yes, you would be.
[She peeks inside of the clothing shop, frowning.]
This is what they give new arrivals in the winter as well? [With all she has learned about the Malnosso, she isn't surprised.] That's the perfect recipe for Pneumonia, particularly if the person happens to be wet for some reason.
[Action]
[Luke holds open the door and steps inside]
Come in, find something suitable.
[Action]
Do you mind waiting?
[After entering the shop, she quickly locates some suitable looking clothes and folds them in her arms. She then heads to a changing room in the back to put on some of said clothes. A few minutes later, she emerges and walks back to him.]
That's better.
[Action]
[Luke nods approvingly when she returns]
It looks better. The New Feather outfits are a bit difficult to bear. Men don't even get shirts
[Action]
The dresses are just ridiculous.
[Action]
[He nods]
And yes, they are utterly ridiculous. Some are lucky, and have their clothing laid out for them though. Nobody knows what makes them so special.
[Action]
[That makes her feel better.]
It could be a tactic to cause strife from the very beginning. Though that seems kind of petty.
