The Second Page: [V i d e o]

[Private to Yurippe.]

I'd like to hear more about your plans concerning sending a message to the Malnosso? I've tested my powers extensively [Between naps.] and they are greatly reduced. Regardless, if I can help, I will. I just need to know what direction you're taking.

[Private to Pascal.]

It's amazing the difference a little rest makes. [She looks much better. There is more color on her cheeks, her wounds are either healed or healing and her hair has been Charmed so the frizziness is gone.]

Have you explored the village? If not, I think we should start there and then branch out into the less obvious attributes of Luceti.

[/]

[Private to Luke Skywalker.]

Thank you again for coming to get me. If I can ever return the favor, please let me know?

[/]

I wasn't sure about this place when I first arrived, but it is proving to be quite fascinating. I almost don't mind losing some of my abilities [Or, rather, the intensity of them.] in order to meet those I never thought I would [More like: "could meet".].

If Luceti really is located in another dimension, it makes me wonder how many other dimensions there might be. Of course visiting them and keeping a tally would probably be a nightmare, but it is interesting to think about.

[She is slowly braiding her hair, sitting cross-legged in a chair. Over-all, she looks much better than she had on her arrival.]

For those I haven't met, my name is Hermione Granger. [A faint smile crosses her lips.]

Drafts are mandatory. Supposedly, missions aren't, but I don't hear of people turning those down often.

[ Which is probably why Yuri did it. Even if it's relaxing once you get used to it, it might be nerve-wracking for someone who isn't. That gives Yuri the playing field advantage here.. she likes to make sure that people are on her playing field, not the other way around. Even if it's not necessary at all. ]

It might not do anything against the droids if they come after us, but I'd rather have something to try with than nothing. Come on.

[ And Yuri's leading her to the girl's side now. ]

Well, even if it's not a secret, it sounds like it'd come in handy for other secrets! If I ever have 'em, anyway.

[He shrugs. Really, Ven's not a secretive guy, but there are cases where it's necessary.]
oftheland: no crimelording here! (why officer i'm completely law-abiding)

Well, I am an accomplished Pokemon trainer, so that may have something to do with it.

...I was thinking that he might do that anyway. He's pretty slick, for an odd duck. [He chuckled, remembering their first real meeting and their shared snark over lost belonging and makeup sales ladies. Her commentary on the storms was also cute--oh, if only she knew how easy it was to get stranded!]

I don't know much about the spirits personally, but they tend to frequent different kinds of areas more readily. Water near the beach, wind near the mountains...you get the drift.

A lot of mystery novels and things. I've been reading Earth's history as well. I find it pretty interesting, all things considered.

That's right. Nishinomiya, specifically.

Sure thing! So that means we're going to be going aaall the way out to meet the barrier, right? Or are we just gonna stay in the villagey part?

[If they're going to end up trekking out to the barrier then maybe Pascal should go grab some supplies like food and water. Might take awhile to do that.]
ivanyouidiot: (yeah i know)

Some people would rather spend time doing than monitoring what they could be doing.

As in turning them down, or failing to complete the task once you go?

It would probably depend on the details - you wouldn't gain any rewards that are associated with it. From what they've stated, general incompletion of a task works on a strike system before penalties are assigned. Blatant disregard of the rules results in automatic penalties.
wise_maiden: (there is something curious about this)

Some people look to that as a better alternative than being dragged off against their will. Of course, that still happens anyway.
