It's amazing the difference a little rest makes. [She looks much better. There is more color on her cheeks, her wounds are either healed or healing and her hair has been Charmed so the frizziness is gone.]

Have you explored the village? If not, I think we should start there and then branch out into the less obvious attributes of Luceti.

I wasn't sure about this place when I first arrived, but it is proving to be quite fascinating. I almost don't mind losing some of my abilities [Or, rather, the intensity of them.] in order to meet those I never thought I would [More like: "could meet".].

If Luceti really is located in another dimension, it makes me wonder how many other dimensions there might be. Of course visiting them and keeping a tally would probably be a nightmare, but it is interesting to think about.

Drafts are mandatory. Supposedly, missions aren't, but I don't hear of people turning those down often.

[ Which is probably why Yuri did it. Even if it's relaxing once you get used to it, it might be nerve-wracking for someone who isn't. That gives Yuri the playing field advantage here.. she likes to make sure that people are on her playing field, not the other way around. Even if it's not necessary at all. ]

It might not do anything against the droids if they come after us, but I'd rather have something to try with than nothing. Come on.

I don't know much about the spirits personally, but they tend to frequent different kinds of areas more readily. Water near the beach, wind near the mountains...you get the drift.

A lot of mystery novels and things. I've been reading Earth's history as well. I find it pretty interesting, all things considered.

Hermione keeps a firm hold on her towel as they approach the spring. Upon reaching it, she gingerly steps into the water. The temperature is actually quite pleasant - something she wasn't exactly expecting.]

Earth's history is fairly remarkable considering it all occurred on one planet. [She smiles faintly.] We've only begun exploring other planets recently.

So they are elemental in nature. [A short pause while she considers that.] Each person responds better to certain elements (or an element) by nature. Fire has always come to me readily. I wonder if I should seek out one of the fire spirits?

What happens if you can't fulfill your mission?

I've never been there myself, though I've thought about traveling there one day. [Japan that is. Not Nishinomiya specifically.] The art and literature must be really beautiful.

Pokemon? [There's a new word.] What is a Pokemon?

As in turning them down, or failing to complete the task once you go?

Failing to complete it. What if you couldn't follow it through to the end?

It would probably depend on the details - you wouldn't gain any rewards that are associated with it. From what they've stated, general incompletion of a task works on a strike system before penalties are assigned. Blatant disregard of the rules results in automatic penalties.

And I'm guessing the penalties aren't pleasant. So, in order for the Malnosso to ensure we do our missions, they dangle something enticing in front of our faces.

[The disgust in her voice isn't feigned.]

Some people look to that as a better alternative than being dragged off against their will. Of course, that still happens anyway.
